One way Queue software was able to expand rapidly was by acquiring other software companies. Most of these cost us nothing in added overhead, since we used existing staff and just put the titles in our catalogues. The acquisition that affected our operations the most was
Pelican Software (soon to be renamed Toucan) since we kept their office and staff intact.
Years later with the software market dying, I closed Toucan and began to look for other businesses to buy-preferably related to education including:
AICE, (American Institute for Creative Education)
