Birthday parties

Many of my birthdays fall over Passover  - and there were very few choices when I was younger in terms of cake.

For many years, I had a soccer game on my birthday, followed by a little party.

Here's the line-up for my 2010 birthday party game:

I rented the UB fieldhouse for an all day soccer party for my 50th birthday.

I had a party at Queue on Commerce Drive Friday night as well:

Then, for my 50th birthday I scheduled a "Senior" Prom with the Drifters! Vicki,who attended a large inner-city high school, Erasmus Hall High School and had often lamented that she never got to go to a prom-  (I went to a quite a few- see High School Years.)

For the 55th  we scheduled one of Vicki's favorite performers - Bette Midler (well, an impersonator.):

The 65th was held at the Greek Orthodox Church on Park Avenue in Bridgeport, catered by the Greek church ladies organization. The food was fantastic! So was the music - Here's the band
